Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) is an industry term referring to the overall air quality within and around buildings, structures and residences as it relates to the health and comfort of building occupants.

IAQ can be affected by microbial contaminants such as bacteria and molds, gases (including radon gases, various organic compounds, carbon monoxide, other containments that can induce adverse health conditions in people and animals. What is Clean Air Delivery Rate?

Clean air delivery rate is used to measure the effectiveness of air cleaning appliances. Created by the EPA, this measure is also recognized by The American Lung Association and the Association of Home Appliance Manufacturers.
